    Indications

    Directions
Before Each Use: 1. Ensure all four legs are adjusted to equal height, with legs and/or wheels firmly on the ground before putting your weight on walker. 2. Ensure all locking mechanisms and push buttons are fully engaged. 3. Ensure hand grips are securely attached and do not slip. 4. Check tips and wheels for wear or damage. If these issues develop, discontinue use until replaced. 5. Do not try to use stairs and escalators with walker unless your healthcare provider has provided training. 6. Watch out for potential safety hazards including, but not limited to, slippery, uneven or soft surfaces and objects in your path. Using Your Walker: 1. Ensure all four legs and/or wheels are firmly on the ground before putting your weight on walker. 2. Push or lift your walker a few inches in front of you. 3. Step forward carefully using your weak leg first. Follow with your other leg, placed in front of your weak leg. Repeat steps to move forward. 4. Maintain space between you and the walker. Positioning your body too closely to the front of the walker may cause you to lose your balance. 5. Walk slowly, keeping your back straight and looking forward when walking, not down at your feet. Walker Three-Point Gait Pattern: Step 1. Align the middle of your feet with the back legs of the walker. Step 2. Ensure all four legs are in contact with the floor before putting your weight on walker and lifting or pushing the walker comfortably in front of you. Step 3. Step forward carefully using your weak leg first. Follow with your other leg, placed in front of your weak leg. Repeat steps to move forward. Wheelchair to Walker Transfer: Ensure wheels on the wheelchair are locked. Lift your body by pushing down on the armrests and carefully transferring one hand at time to the walker. If there is an injury to left leg/foot, transfer right hand first, followed by left hand, reversing directions for injury to right leg/foot. Note: Additional assistance may be required. General Care: To ensure that your walker will have a long service life, inspect it regularly and follow these general maintenance tips: Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth at least once a week to remove any dust and dirt. If exposed to moisture, dry immediately. Do not use an abrasive cleaner that will scratch the finish. Use only a clean towel dampened with cool water when cleaning hand grips. Confirm that the hand grips are dry before using. Never use ammonia-based cleaning solutions or soap on hand grips, which may cause them to loosen or crack. Periodically inspect all tips and wheels for wear or damage. If these issues develop, discontinue use until they have been replaced. Recommend to Use with (Items sold separately): Walker basket; walker ski glides. Adjusting your Walker: 1. Remove the walker from packaging and unfold it, setting it upright. 2. Stand inside the walker and align the middle of your feet with the back legs of the walker. With your arms extended down, the walker handles should be at wrist height. 3. To adjust legs to the correct height, press push buttons on each leg and slide into the desired height position before locking into place. Push buttons are engaged when they fully protrude through the holes in the bracket and an audible click is heart. At correctly adjusted height, your elbows should be flexed 20 inch - 30 inch when holding hand grips. 4. Use your feet to press the extension legs slightly inward, keeping them as parallel as possible. Grasp the width-adjustable brace frame on both ends and slide it down, maintaining equal force on both sides, until the brace frame is resting on the plastic tube end cover. 5. To fold up the walker, reverse the above instructions. To Attach Wheels: 1. Gently place the walker on its side. 2. Remove the two existing front leg extensions from the walker by pressing the push buttons and sliding the leg extensions completely off. Store the leg extensions for future use. 3. While holding the wheel, press the walker's leg push button in and slide the front wheel leg extension into place. Slide the wheel on until it locks into place at the desired height. Push buttons are engaged when they fully protrude through the holes in the bracket and an audible click is heard. Repeat for second wheel. 4. Once the front legs have been properly adjusted and secured, turn the walker upright.
